M Maple Leaf
Houseboating is the perfect means of accessing Whangaroa's natural beauty, yet still enjoying all the comforts of home in the perfect environment for the most relaxing holiday.
Whangaroa's scenery is awe-inspiring, with towering sheer bluffs and volcanic rock formations protruding through steep forested shores, its colours reflected in tranquil water.
This unspoiled natural resource, ideal for rest and relaxation also offers the oppurtunity for having fun.
Fishing, diving and sailing are just a few of many reasons to get afloat - now do all this from your lounge.
The Maple Leaf is surveyed as a bare boat charter. While you don't need any marine qualification to take control of the houseboat, previous boating experience is an advantage.
On boarding Maple Leaf, a full safety and operating lesson ensures you are safe and comfortable.
For inexperienced guests, our qualified skipper can deliver the maple leaf to a safe anchorage for you. Use the dinghy or kayaks to explore and fish using the houseboat as a mother ship. The skipper will return you and the boat to the wharf at the end of your holiday.
